Enquiries & Bookings
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not create a contractual agreement.
A contract for services is only formed once:
- Oraanj Interior Design has confirmed acceptance of your booking or project; and
- Any required consultation fee, deposit, or payment has been received.
Site Visits & Consultations
Where a site visit or consultation is booked:
- The applicable consultation fee must be paid in full before the appointment is confirmed.
- Consultation fees cover the professional time, expertise, preparation, administration, travel time, and travel expenses associated with the appointment.
- Consultation fees are separate from any future design fees unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
- Where applicable, any consultation fee credited towards a future design package will be subject to the specific terms outlined in your proposal.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- A minimum of 48 hours’ written notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booked consultation or site visit.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, failure to attend the appointment, or failure to provide access to the property at the agreed time may result in the consultation fee being retained.
- A replacement appointment may require payment of a new consultation fee.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer legislation.
Design Services
All drawings, concepts, mood boards, layouts, specifications, schedules, renders, and design documentation remain the intellectual property of Oraanj Interior Design until all outstanding invoices have been paid in full.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Designs are prepared solely for the client’s project.
- Designs may not be copied, reproduced, amended, or reused for any other project.
- Clients must not share Oraanj Interior Design’s drawings or design documentation with third parties for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Estimates & Quotations
Any quotations, estimated budgets, or cost indications provided by Oraanj Interior Design are estimates only.
Construction costs, furniture prices, supplier pricing, material availability, and labour costs may change without notice.
Unless specifically stated, quotations do not include:
- Building works
- Structural engineering
- Planning applications
- Building Control fees
- Third-party consultant fees
- Furniture purchases
- Contractor costs
- Statutory application fees
Payments
Payment terms will be outlined within each individual proposal or invoice.
Failure to make payment may result in:
- Suspension of work.
- Delays to project delivery.
- Withholding of drawings, specifications, renders, or other deliverables until payment has been received.
Where permitted by law, late payment interest and recovery costs may also be charged.
Project Timelines
Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Project timelines may be affected by:
- Client delays.
- Late approvals.
- Supplier lead times.
- Contractor delays.
- Material shortages.
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Oraanj Interior Design shall not be liable for delays caused by third parties or external factors.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the property where required.
- Obtain any necessary permissions from landlords, freeholders, management companies, or other relevant parties.
- Obtain planning permission, listed building consent, Building Regulations approval, or any other statutory approvals where applicable, unless specifically instructed otherwise.
Unless agreed in writing, clients remain responsible for appointing and managing contractors.
Third-Party Contractors & Suppliers
Oraanj Interior Design may recommend contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, or specialist consultants.
Unless acting under a separate Design & Build agreement, Oraanj Interior Design is not responsible for:
- Their workmanship.
- Delays.
- Pricing.
- Availability.
- Product quality.
- Contractual disputes.
Any contract entered into with a third-party supplier remains solely between the client and that supplier.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By using this website, you consent to the collection and processing of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By submitting an enquiry or booking through our website, you also consent to Oraanj Interior Design contacting you via:
