A South London commercial interior uniting executive working, acoustic privacy and calming wellness spaces
Croydon is an established South London business hub. This project required transforming an open commercial unit into an integrated private executive office and boutique wellness clinic. The spatial strategy needed to provide distinct circulation paths for corporate consultations and clinical clients whilst sustaining one cohesive architectural aesthetic throughout.
We designed a welcoming reception anchored by a bespoke fluted olive-green timber desk with a honed limestone counter. Acoustic double-glazed partitions with slim black aluminium frames separate private consultation rooms from open circulation corridors, maintaining natural daylight ingress while achieving strict acoustic privacy. Tactile materials: olive-green joinery, warm European oak, soft stone wall cladding, taupe upholstery, and brushed brass details: give the premises a calm, professional atmosphere appropriate for high-value client advisory and holistic patient care.

The floorplate was divided into distinct public and confidential sectors. Dual-glazed partitions rated at 42dB Rw sound insulation allow daylight penetration from perimeter windows whilst protecting client privacy. The fluted reception joinery was built from solid timber with durable sprayed lacquer finishes, complemented by non-porous honed stone countertops for effortless clinical sanitisation.
